December Together (D2) is the flagship CSR initiative of Financial Partners. It is a community-driven programme created to bring people of all social backgrounds together during the festive season, particularly in December, a time of love, reconciliation, and sharing.

The programme takes place every third Saturday of December and serves as a platform to celebrate cultural diversity while extending meaningful support to those in need.

Vision & Objectives

The vision of December Together is to unite communities through compassion and shared responsibility.

Key Objectives:

  • Promote love, unity, and social harmony
  • Celebrate cultural diversity through arts and dance
  • Support widows, orphans, the elderly, and the needy
  • Encourage collective contribution for community welfare
  • Reinforce the values of African solidarity and togetherness

Activities & Timeline

  • December Together is a full-day community event characterized by both social outreach and cultural celebration.

    Key Activities:

    • Distribution of provisions to members and vulnerable groups
    • Cultural dance performances showcasing diversity
    • Entertainment and community interaction
    • Public sensitization on unity and sharing

    Typical Event Schedule:

    • 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM: Distribution of provisions to beneficiaries in and around Tiko
    • 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM: Cultural displays, entertainment, and community celebration

    For communities outside Tiko, distribution of provisions begins from the 10th of December, with transportation arrangements made for registered groups of 30 members and above.

Membership Conditions

December Together is open to everyone, both members and non-members of Financial Partners.

Membership Requirements:

  • Registration fee: 1,000 FCFA per package
  • Annual contribution: 25,000 FCFA per package
    • Weekly: 500 FCFA
    • Monthly: 2,000 FCFA
  • Contributions may be paid in one, two, or three instalments
  • Members may subscribe to more than one package
  • All contributions must be completed by 30th November each year

Registration & Contribution Details

  • To register for December Together:

    • Complete the D2 registration form
    • Provide a photocopy of a valid ID or relevant identification (if available)
    • Make payments through approved Financial Partners channels

    Important Notes:

    • Obligatory renewal during distribution of provisions: 1,000 FCFA
    • Special provisions are reserved for members who complete contributions by 30th June
    • Members registering online or from distant towns will have their booklets managed by Financial Partners staff
    • Participants will receive regular updates and proof of contributions via WhatsApp or other communication channels
